H is for Halloween!

I don't think that could've worked out better if we had tried! We had a great preschool today and the kids all looked fantastic in their costumes! It's always so fun celebrating holidays with little ones, they remind us how much fun it can be! We need to thank Miss Jazmin for hosting our Halloween party at her house, if it had been at my house it would've been far more crowded :) Onto the pictures!

The kids were understandably worked up today, but they managed to do a pretty good job with all of our activities. After Circle Time we started right in on our letter art. We made houses and horses. The kids all had a great time galloping their horses around :)

Next we talked about the number 8 and made spiders with 8 legs. We folded the legs so they would be crinkly, the kids did a great job with this and only needed a little help.

Next we played with sensory bowls and looked for hidden Halloween treasures! These make a great mess, but the kids love them!

Then Miss Jazmin read us a spooky Halloween story. This may be the only time in the whole three hours that they were all sitting and paying attention at the same time! They loved it so much they asked Miss Jazmin to read it again!

Once all the mommies got there we started in on all the fun Halloween treats Miss Jazmin made. How fun are these spooky Ghost cake pops!

The kids were VERY excited about the spooky Jack 'o lantern pizza!
We played freeze dance, and the kids loved it! I think it's pretty much the only game we played. They were all content to just play outside after filling up on the yummy food! We had so much fun I can't wait for the Thanksgiving party!

Next week we'll be learning about the letter I, reviewing the numbers 5-8, and talking about our sense of taste. See you then!
