Looking for something to do today?

Parents, I just wanted to share a couple of ideas we didn't have time to do in preschool the last couple of weeks! If you would like to try these with your child at home, I'm sure they would love it!
  1. Make a "Me" puzzle: have your child lie down on a large sheet of paper and trace his/her body. Let your kiddo color in clothes, hair, eyes, etc. Then, cut the paper into smaller pieces, and presto! your child has a life-sized puzzle of himself or herself!
  2. For the letter B, make band-aid bugs! Click here to see pictures and instructions. I also saw a version where you use a piece of gauze, allow your child to decorate it with paint or markers, then scrunch the gauze in the middle and attach it to a paper with a band-aid to make band-aid butterflies.
  3. You can make a Colorful Crayon Candle for the letter C. We won't have time to do this at school, but it looks like fun! To see pictures and instructions, click here.
